India Vs West Indies 2011: first test can go either way

It's not a final day of the test, but today's play should be enough to decide the fate of the two teams. chasing 326 runs to win, West Indies had already lost 3 important wickets, but they know that the victory is only 195 runs far when they will come to bat today. West indies will expect that their most dependable pair Darren Bravo (30*) and Shivnaraine Chandrapaul (24*) will instill their pride by taking the score as close to target as possible. This is probably the last formidable pair and if anyone of them gets out, West Indies have to rely on their long tail which was not wagging much in the first inning.

The great wall of India Rahul Dravid made yet another century. This was his 32nd and probably one of the finest as it came at the situation when all other batsmen could not impress. His 108 runs were very important, and when he got out as the last wicket of The inning, he assured that India accumulated more than a fighting total. For the whole three days, bowlers had dominated the batsmen. Bishoo (4/65) and Sammy (4/62) gave the tough time to Indian batsmen on the crease. It's not that Indians hadn't face anyone like Bishoo before, but this young leg spinner produced the wisely crafted delivery that attracted the Indians to make mistakes.

Indian pace bowlers have partially played their part by removing 3 top hurdles, but the spinners have been very disappointing. Amit Mishra is completely out of form, going at 5.75 runs per over and still wicketless. He should come up with his brilliant spells today if he wishes to preserve his place fir the 2nd test. The first session of the day will be important for both teams. If West Indies lose 1-2 wickets at this time, they will most probably be at the receiving end.
